Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, born in Wellington,) is an Canadian actress. Paquin, born in Winnipeg and raised by Wellington Paquin's father, was first seen on stage as Flora McGrath. For this role, she won the Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress in The romantic drama The Piano at the young age of 11. The actress is second-youngest winner in Oscar history.
