Summer Glau

 The first time she appeared on television was as a ballerina in a guest role in a 2002 episode on the show Angel. She was the target of director Joss Whedon, who then was cast in his critically acclaimed , but brief-lived TV series Firefly as River Tam, a role she reprised in the show's feature film sequel Serenity. Glau was previously a candidate to play the Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger alyssa Erile) role in Power Rangers Wild Force, but was defeated by Jessica Rey. She played Shelly her high school senior in Sleepover. She also appeared in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom? " Season two of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl of Jeremy Erhart). Glau was the paranoid schizophrenia returning Tess Doerner in season 2 of The 4400. She became a regular in season 3 and beyond. She also starred in the horror comedy film Mammoth. Glau was cast in the ABC Family TV movie The Initiation of Sarah.In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a series that premiered on January 13, 2008. Glau played the role of Cameron Phillips, a Terminator infiltration unit who is sent back to safeguard John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet. The seventh episode of the series, "The Demon Hand", featured several scenes in which Glau, in character as Cameron, dances in ballet. In the second season's episode "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young, Cameron's human doppelganger. Glau was also featured as herself on an CBS episode from 2009 of the Big Bang Theory's comedy.
